Cookie Policy

QRVS Academy — operated by QR Virtual Services (QRVS)

1. Categories

We distinguish between Strictly Necessary, Functional, Embedded Content, Analytics and Marketing technologies. Optional categories remain disabled until consent.

Technology / service Provider Category and purpose Typical retention
MoodleSession QRVS Academy / Moodle Strictly Necessary — maintains the authenticated session. Current browser session
MOODLEID or equivalent preference identifier QRVS Academy / Moodle Strictly Necessary or optional login preference, depending on the selected Moodle function. Persistent according to the current Moodle configuration or until deleted by the user
vali_consent_v2 and consent identifier QR Virtual Services Strictly Necessary — remembers and documents the user's consent selection. Until the policy version changes, the user clears browser storage, or consent is reset
Crisp Chat storage and cookies Crisp Functional — direct chat and support. Blocked before Functional consent. According to the current Crisp configuration and provider documentation
YouTube storage and cookies Google / YouTube Embedded Content — video playback. Blocked before Embedded Content consent. Session-based or persistent according to the provider's current configuration
Google Maps storage and cookies Google Embedded Content — interactive maps. Blocked before Embedded Content consent. Session-based or persistent according to the provider's current configuration

Third-party identifiers and durations can change when a provider changes its service. QRVS therefore reviews this table periodically and updates it when the deployed services or their storage behaviour change.

2. Consent and withdrawal

Optional services are activated only after consent. Consent can be withdrawn or changed at any time using the permanent “Cookie Settings” control in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

3. Content blocking

YouTube, Google Maps and Crisp Chat are blocked before the required category is accepted. A privacy placeholder is displayed instead. “Accept and Load” activates only the category required by the selected service.

4. Consent documentation

The system records an anonymous browser-generated identifier, policy version, timestamp, consent source and category choices. The consent log does not intentionally record the user's name, email, Moodle account ID, IP address or browser user-agent.
